1. Check the work
(1) Check the equipment use and maintenance records to confirm whether the equipment was used normally last time.
(2) Determine the experimental materials, impurities that affect the normal operation of the equipment, and understand whether the basic properties of the materials (melting index, softening point, etc.) are appropriate.
(3) Check whether the components of the equipment are in good condition, and whether the power supply, water source, etc. are consistent with the operation requirements of the equipment.
2. Precautions
(1) Sundries are not allowed in the material, and foreign objects such as metal, sand and gravel are strictly prohibited from entering the hopper.
(2) The screw is only allowed to start at low speed, the idling time does not exceed 1 minute, and the screw speed can be gradually increased after feeding in time. The screw speed and current cannot exceed the parameters
(3) When opening the cooling water, slowly open the valve to see if the temperature is within the controllable range, and do not suddenly open it all the way.
(4) When inspecting the appearance of the coating, the operator must wear anti-high temperature gloves for operation to prevent high temperature burns.
3. Power on
(1) Preheat and heat up, turn on the main power supply of the equipment, and set parameters for the temperature control instruments of the heating zones of the screw and die head according to the process requirements. After the heating temperature of each section reaches the set value, continue to maintain a constant temperature for 30-60 minutes, and at the same time further confirm whether the temperature control instrument of each section is working normally.
(2) When the preheating is completed and the machine is turned on normally, first press the start button, slowly adjust the speed switch, and observe whether the motor is running normally. After confirming that it is correct, add the test material, and then slowly increase the speed to the working state required by the process.
(3) The water cooling system needs to be turned on in high temperature weather or when the equipment is used for a long time.
(4) During the extrusion experiment, the thickness of the extrusion coating can be controlled by adjusting the upper and lower adjustment nuts at the outlet of the die (the upper nut plays a fine-tuning role).
(5) If an abnormal situation occurs during the extrusion experiment, the emergency stop switch should be pressed immediately, and the abnormal situation should be eliminated, and then the equipment should be turned on according to the operating procedure to continue the test.
4. Shut down
(1) After the experiment is completed, gradually reduce the screw speed, and try to drain the remaining material in the barrel as much as possible. After the material is discharged, reduce the screw speed to zero, and finally clean up the remaining material in the die head.
(2) Turn off the cooling water valve switch and valve; turn off the start button; turn off the heating switches in each area; and finally turn off the main power switch on the equipment control cabinet. In the low temperature environment in winter, after the equipment is used, the cooling water in the equipment should be drained to prevent the cooling system from freezing and cracking in the low temperature environment.
(3) After the experiment is completed, clean up the equipment and the ground, and dispose of the garbage.
5. Maintenance
(1) Check the wear of the screw and barrel every 1000 hours of operation of the extruder, check the wear of the sealing ring at the end of the screw, and replace the spare parts if necessary.
(2) The gearbox lubricating oil needs to be changed every 1000 hours of operation, and the gears, bearings and oil seals of the gearbox should be checked once a year.
(3) In the case of long-term parking, anti-rust and anti-fouling measures must be taken for the equipment.
